About Alsou


Alsou was born in Bugulm, Tatarstan , Russia on June 27, 1983 ( one day after me which is June 26) Her full name is Alsou Tenisheva, she currently lives in England but says "I don't think I could live my whole life in England,The weather is terrible, very depressing. It's actually pretty boring here. At 7:30 am, I have to wake up, go to school, then come back home around 6pm. After that, all I do is homework and watch TV. It's the same routine every day."
She spent her childhood livin with her grandparents.

At age 9, she moved with her parents to Moscow, Russia. Shortly after, she and her brother moved to London, England.

She performed for the first time at her brothers wedding. Soon after, when Alsou was visiting her mother in Moscow, her mother's friends heard Alsou sing, and offered to take her to the studio. In the studio she sang "I will always love you", by Whitney Houston. Her producer was extremely impressed by her voice.

That's how the story started! Pretty soon her debut single, "Winter Dream", hits the Russian radio stations, and the video for "Winter Dream" will start to be aired on TV. After that comes new videos for the songs "Spring", and "Sometimes", and finally her selftitled debut album, "Alsou".

Now this young singer is ready to get the show on the road in the US! After success on EuroVision, Alsou had her first single in english, called "Solo", and she is currently signed with Universal Music Group. Stay tuned for the whole new album!
